What I Liked:
The backdrop of the story and theme definitely brings in freshness. Its a plot never dealt with before. James Albert, the brain behind 'Classmates' has brought in a social message as well this time. Anoop Kannan the debutante has done a decent directorial job. The story slowly picks up pace as it progresses and get intriguing as it approaches the end of first half. Mammootty and Sreenivasan as usual does a great job. Baburaj definitely showcases a very laudable performance. Satheesh Kurup has shot some frames exceptionally well, especially the dam scenes. There might be few moments in the movie you might fall in love, especially the ending. All said and done, the movies leaves you with a social message to ponder over..
What Could Be Better:
Though the theme is fresh, the treatment seems to have failed in this aspect. Though one would expect some unexpected twists, the second half could have been dealt with better. However you end up seeing a very linear and predictable way of how the story unfolds and mystery being solved, filled with just action and chasing. The movie lacks focus and mindless at some times. One would expect some interesting connections between various incidents later on, but somewhere down the line, things turn out quite predictable.
